A Hat Full of Sky

Inspired by Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

This image is mostly a development of the techniques I learned in the background department of an anime studio. The execution I have here is already so far from the prescribed technique of their particular shows that probably no sane background checker would approve it.

This was also a study on the colors, settings and compositions used by the likes of Studio Ghibli. I hope their next book-inspired work is more faithful to the source material.
