My name is Ruben, I was born in 1981 and raised in Manila. I've been drawing all my life. I took Applied Physics in college until I got so distracted that I was forced to take up my hobbies as my course, completing an arts degree at University of the Philippines. I have trained and worked as a background artist for a large anime studio, and have done advertising storyboards and some teaching in between.

I am an avid reader of SF and Fantasy, and it greatly influences the subjects I depict. My work is purely digital, and my personal priorities in my work are the colors, composition, and implying a story with a single image.
